No meio da praia do Itararé, à esquerda do teleférico (quem vê de costas para o mar), há um pedaço de areia onde o pessoal que quer pegação se reúne a partir das 22/23hs. Os quiosques daquela área, sempre fechados, também servem de ponto pra quem espera ação. Costuma haver mendigos e garotos de programa circulando. Melhora nas noites frias (espanta os mendigos e os curiosos).
