Park in the area just off Hwy 280 on the Northwest side of the Cahaba River just south of I-459 and walk in down the trail to the river and then walk west and look for like minded people. This area has never been a disappointment even in hot or cold weather. Never tried it in the rain, but could be fun if anyone else is there.
