Shohola Lake parking lot off route 6 is near the dam and lake. Long abandon picnic area still with table and benches with well worn trails. Entrance to parking lot is right on 6, go left for fishing and right for cruising. No one gos right for any reason other then cruising (or lost and pulled in to look at directions).
